UPDATE ... Tuesday August 28th.
after more than 4 days of waiting for the name servers for thebiglist.com to be updated, less than a hour and half after I posted the original message below ... NetSol put my updates through.
4 days for a nameserver changes ... thats awesome, NOT 4 days for the change to pass through the internet ... but 4 days for NetSol to get off their high horse and deal with my updates.
honestly I never had issues with NetSol until I transfered roughly 50 domains from them to GoDaddy ...
----------------------------------------------------------
I ran into a small issue last week. My host of 11+ years shut down, I have until August 30th to pick up my servers.
with only few days notice, theres not time to do things "the right way" ... and lets just say on short notice Network Solutions is not the place to have your domain name registered.
I only had 4 domains left there, I have slowly been moving everything to Godaddy ...
I had about 30-40 domains to move to new servers before I go pickup my servers from my old host ... only 4 were registered with Network Solutions ... as of right now all 4 of them were offline, and just stuck in limbo.
on the other hand ... every domain I had through Godaddy is back up and running, updates went through fast ... and I had no issues.
the only thing I can smile about right now ... is finally after spending $35 per year, per domain name for 10+ years ... GoDaddy came along ... and now I pay $8.95 per year, per domain ... and I actually get stuff done and my sites are not in limbo.
heres looken at you NetSol ... I hope you higher the best PR and Marketing firm in the world, because they are going to need to keep people convinced that its a good deal when you charge $35 for junk service over GoDaddy's $8.95 and great service ...
